Make your first 3D model
Type an idea, get a textured 3D model. 30 credits — you start with 100.
This is the whole path from an idea to a finished model. You type a sentence, choose what kind of thing it is, and Hewly builds a textured 3D model you can turn, download or print — in your browser, with no 3D software.
Step by step
- In the menu on the left, tap 3D model.
- Type what you want in the big box, for example: a small round robot mascot, smiling. Stuck? Tap Suggest.
- Pick what it is: Character, Item or Environment.
- Optional: tick Show me 4 pictures first (8 credits) to choose the look before you pay for the 3D part.
- Tap Generate. A model costs 30 credits and takes a few minutes. The page updates by itself — you can leave and come back.
- When it's ready, the model opens on its own page. Everything you can do with it starts there.
Good to know
- One subject per model works best. Say its colours and what it's made of.
- For printing, ask for a solid pose — arms close to the body, nothing thin sticking out.
- If a generation fails, your credits come straight back.
More guides
- Look all around your model — Turn it, zoom in, and check the mesh and the paint.
- How credits work — You start with 100 free credits, and get more every month.
- Pick from 4 pictures first — See 4 drawings of your idea for 8 credits, then build only the one you like.
- Write a prompt that works — Name one thing, and say its colours and what it's made of.
