Help & tutorials › Make a model
Write a prompt that works
Name one thing, and say its colours and what it's made of.
The sentence you type is the whole brief. A short, specific description of one object gives Hewly the best chance of building what you pictured.
Step by step
- Name one subject: a ceramic owl, not an owl on a branch next to a lantern. One subject per model works best.
- Say its colours and what it's made of: a red ceramic owl with gold eyes.
- Then pick what it is on the page: Character, Item or Environment.
- Going to print it? Ask for a solid pose — arms close to the body, nothing thin sticking out.
- Stuck for words? Tap Suggest for a prompt to start from.
- Not sure how it should look? Tick Show me 4 pictures first (8 credits) and choose before the 3D part.
Good to know
- Ask for two things in one prompt and one of them may be left out — make each one as its own model.
