GLB, FBX, STL or 3MF: which file?
Which download to pick for websites, game engines, 3D apps and 3D printers. Downloads are free.
Every finished model can be downloaded in several formats, free and as often as you like. They hold the same model; what differs is which programs read them well.
Step by step
- GLB — for websites, AR, Godot and most 3D viewers.
- FBX — for Unity, Unreal and Blender.
- STL — for 3D printing. It works in every slicer.
- 3MF — for 3D printing in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer and OrcaSlicer. It keeps the millimetres, so the model opens at the height you chose.
- GLB, FBX and STL are under Download on the model's page. A print file at your chosen height, as 3MF or STL, is under Print it.
Good to know
- Print files are shape only. Colours and textures don't go into them.
- Need a real-world size for a game or AR? Resize (1 credit) sets the height or longest side in centimetres.
